Are you a multi skilled Maintenance Technician who enjoys getting to the bottom of faults and keeping production moving?
Our client is looking for a Shift Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing operation, supporting the smooth running of a busy production environment on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of manufacturing equipment, responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Service equipment according to planned maintenance schedules
- Respond to breakdowns as first line support
- Diagnose and repair faults on extrusion lines and moulding machines
- Maintain ancillary equipment, automated cells and butt fusion equipment
- Implement approved modification projects to capital equipment
- Perform mechanical and electrical work safely and efficiently
- Complete daily logs and data capture via CMMS system
Who They’re Looking For
- Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification
- 3 years' experience in a similar maintenance role
- Proven fault-finding and
- problem-solving abilities
- Experience with PLC fault-finding (desirable)
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (desirable)
- Extrusion and injection moulding experience (desirable)
- 18th Edition certification, desirable)
