You'll be involved in the fabrication, installation, modification and testing of pipework systems across a variety of industrial projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to play a key role in delivering high quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating and welding stainless steel pipework using TIG welding techniques.
- Installing, modifying and repairing pipework systems at customer sites and within the workshop.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and isometric diagrams to complete work accurately.
- Carrying out testing and fault finding to ensure systems are operating correctly.
- Using a range of workshop equipment, hand tools and diagnostic technology.
- Working closely with colleagues across engineering, operations and customer support to deliver projects on time.
Who They’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Pipefitter Welder or in a similar mechanical fabrication role.
- Strong TIG welding experience, ideally working with stainless steel pipework.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Available to work away 2 nights per week.
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial engineering environments, desirable.
- Relevant welding or engineering qualifications, desirable.
- Gas Safe and F Gas certification, desirable.
- Willingness to participate in a planned call out and standby rota, desirable.
