As a Goods In & Production Support Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by managing incoming deliveries, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting the production team with components and materials.
Key
Responsibilities
- Receive, check and inspect all incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and part lists to verify components
- Book stock into the system against purchase orders with precision
- Maintain accurate stock records and organise stores efficiently
- Pick parts and prepare kit lists for the production team
- Support machine builders by providing components and materials as needed
- Assist with basic mechanical assemblies when required
- Identify and report shortages, damaged goods or discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production and purchasing teams Who they're looking for:
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or technical stores environment
- Ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings or technical part information
- Strong IT skills and comfort using stock control or ERP systems
- Organised and methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
