Are you an experienced manufacturing supervisor with a talent for leading teams and a passion for driving continuous improvement? Our client is a forward-thinking infrastructure solutions company looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, lead a dedicated team and drive continuous improvement. As Production Supervisor, you'll oversee the build and delivery of electrical system products to required quality standards. You'll manage the production cell work centre, drive performance against defined KPIs and take a leading role in promoting a safe and healthy working environment. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on manufacturing excellence whilst developing your team and driving operational improvements that directly contribute to the company's success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the manufacturing team to ensure the timely build and delivery of products to the highest quality standards.
- Coach and support team members, identifying training needs, conducting performance reviews and managing recruitment.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by promoting and leading the use of lean tools.
- Run daily team meetings to communicate priorities and collaborate with other departments to optimise operations.
- Initiate and manage projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes and efficiency.
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment across the production area.
- Act as deputy for the Production Manager when required, ready to lead the department.
