An experienced Food Inspection Officer / Environmental Health Officer is sought to join a busy Local Authority Environmental Health team. The role centres on the Council’s Food Safety function, performing programmed food hygiene inspections across a range of premises.
You will inspect, audit and monitor food businesses in line with the FSA Food Law Code of Practice, investigate complaints and potential breaches, and prepare notices or support legal proceedings when required.
