Job Description
A Local Authority based in the East of England are looking for a dynamic planning officer to assist with a caseload of minor and householder applications.
They are ideally looking for someone who has experience working on these sorts of applications for other Local Authorities.
Applications may include:
- Assessing extensions (single-storey, two-storey and side extensions).
- Loft conversions and roof alterations, including dormers.
- Garages, outbuildings and garden rooms. Small residential developments (typically up to 9 dwellings).
Change of use applications (e.g. office to residential, retail to food and drink).
Commercial extensions and alterations.
