A council based in Hampshire are looking for an experienced interim to join their service to lead across Environmental Health, Port Health, Trading Standards and Licensing services.

The Role

  • £650 daily rate (Inside IR35)
  • Hampshire based Council
  • 37 hours per week
  • 1 day in office per week minimum
  • Start end of January or February
  • 6 months (possible extension)

What Is Required

  • Focus on proven leadership in Environmental Health, Port Health, Trading Standards and Licensing services.
  • Significant senior management experience within Public Protection or a related regulatory environment.
  • Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework governing Environmental Health, Port Health, Trading Standards and Licensing.
  • Proven ability to operate at a strategic level, providing professional advice and influencing senior stakeholders and elected members.
  • Experience of managing complex risk, enforcement activity and multi-agency working.
  • Demonstrable leadership, financial acumen and experience of driving service improvement and transformation.
