Oyster Partnership is recruiting experienced Food Safety Officers to support a South London Local Authority with a programme of food hygiene inspections.
This opportunity is focused purely on planned inspection work . There is no service request, complaint investigation or reactive work involved, allowing officers to focus entirely on food hygiene inspections and achieving inspection targets.
The Role
- Undertaking programmed food hygiene inspections
- Completing inspection reports and associated documentation
- Providing advice and guidance to food businesses
- Supporting the delivery of the council's inspection programme
About You
- Authorised Food Safety Officer
- Recent local authority experience
- Up-to-date Food Law Code of Practice competencies
- Current CPD records
- Able to work independently and manage your own inspection workload
