Senior Highway Infrastructure (Major Projects) | Delivering Highway Infrastructure | Major Complex Highway Delivery - EOII’m currently supporting several clients across the UK who are delivering major, complex highway and infrastructure schemes, and given your background, I wanted to get in touch.

There is a noticeable uplift in demand across both consultancies and public sector organisations working on large-scale programmes, particularly linked to strategic road networks, housing-led infrastructure, and major junction improvements.

I’m currently working on roles including: Senior / Principal Highways Engineers – Leading design and delivery of major highway schemes (S278/S38, junction improvements, corridor upgrades)Project Managers / Senior Project Managers (Infrastructure) – Overseeing end-to-end delivery of large-scale transport and highways projects Design Managers – Coordinating multidisciplinary teams across complex infrastructure programmes Highways Development Management / Major Projects Officers – Reviewing and advising on significant planning applications and infrastructure delivery Associate / Associate Director (Highways & Infrastructure) – Strategic leadership roles with responsibility for client growth, team development, and major project oversight Civil Infrastructure Engineers (Drainage / Highways) – Supporting detailed design across major residential, mixed-use, and strategic sites Many of these roles involve working on: National Highways / SRN schemes Major local authority infrastructure programmes Large residential and mixed-use developments Levelling Up / regeneration-linked transport projects NEC & ECI Management DCO leadership If any of these positions above are of interest, it would be great to discuss how I may be able to support your next contract position.
