Help lead the next chapter of one of Europe's fastest growing real estate investment platforms. We are representing a highly entrepreneurial, privately owned Pan-European real estate investment and asset management business seeking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer to take a leading role within one of its most important and fastest-growing European markets.

The growth story is compelling. Having built a substantial investment platform from a standing start, the business is now on track to have in excess of £1bn within the next two years. This is a senior executive appointment with a broad mandate spanning investment, asset management, operations, people and growth. It represents an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished real estate professional to move beyond individual transactions or portfolios and take genuine leadership responsibility for a rapidly scaling business.

The Role

Working alongside the senior leadership and established local management team, the COO will play a central role in determining how the business grows, invests and operates across the region. Responsibilities will include:

  • Helping define and execute the investment and growth strategy
  • Providing senior leadership across a substantial and growing real estate portfolio
  • Leading and challenging investment decisions and new acquisitions
  • Overseeing asset management strategy and portfolio performance
  • Ensuring individual assets deliver against their original investment thesis and business plans
  • Providing commercial and operational leadership to the local business
  • Developing the people, processes and infrastructure required to support further significant growth
  • Working closely with local leadership to identify new investment and value-creation opportunities
  • Taking genuine accountability for commercial and investment outcomes

Crucially, this is not a traditional corporate COO role. The successful individual will need to be a genuine real estate operator who understands the entire investment lifecycle, from acquisition and underwriting through asset management, value creation and eventual exit. We are looking for an established real estate leader with the breadth of experience to operate at executive level while retaining the commercial instincts and hands-on approach of an investor.

Why Consider It?

The platform has already achieved significant scale, but the opportunity ahead is considerably larger. The infrastructure exists. The portfolio exists. The appetite to deploy further capital exists. The opportunity is to help build the next version of the business. For an ambitious investment and asset management professional looking to step into broader executive leadership, this offers something genuinely unusual: significant existing scale combined with genuine entrepreneurial growth potential and the autonomy to make an impact. For a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity, please get in touch.
