Ownership and Accountability of their Finance Function.Having partnered exclusively with a leading PBSA operator and developer I am excited to be working on finding a Management Accountant whose focus will be to manage their emerging residential portfolio.With an exciting pipeline of residential developments underway, they are looking to expand their internal finance function by recruiting a talented Management Accountant.This role is critical in providing accurate financial insights to help guide the success of their projects and overall business strategy, meaning previous Real Estate experience is necessary.As Management Accountant, you will be a key finance partner to the development, construction, and operational teams. You will oversee project financials, track performance, and ensure that budgets are met and risks are proactively managed.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and present monthly management accounts with detailed project-by-project analysisLead budget setting, reforecasting, and cash flow management across multiple developmentsMonitor project costs, contract valuations, and work-in-progress reportsPrepare development appraisals and assist in financial modelling for new acquisitionsCollaborate closely with project managers, development directors, and the commercial teamProvide insightful reporting to support investment decisions and board reportingMaintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with internal and external standardsSupport year-end audits and liaise with external auditorsContinuously improve financial processes, reporting systems, and controlsWhat you will bring:Qualified or Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Prior experience in a real estate development, construction, or property investment environmentStrong understanding of development financing, cash flow forecasting, and cost managementCommercially savvy with the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholdersHighly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solvingStrong communication skills and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentThis opportunity comes at a time where others have had to downsize, these guys are looking to expand.
