Oyster Partnership is recruiting experienced Food Safety Officers to support a South London Local Authority with a programme of food hygiene inspections.
This opportunity is focused purely on planned inspection work. There is no service request, complaint investigation or reactive work involved, allowing officers to focus entirely on food hygiene inspections and achieving inspection targets.
The Role
- Undertaking programmed food hygiene inspections
- Completing inspection reports and associated documentation
- Providing advice and guidance to food businesses
- Supporting the delivery of the council's inspection programme
About You
- Authorised Food Safety Officer
- Recent local authority experience
- Up-to-date Food Law Code of Practice competencies
- Current CPD records
- Able to work independently and manage your own inspection workload
