About the role
The council is looking for a qualified Environmental Health Officer to support the team, primarily undertaking food complaint work and health & safety complaint investigations. There may also be a requirement to complete food hygiene inspections as part of complaint investigations, so the successful officer must be appropriately qualified.
Ideal candidate will have
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the relevant specialism
- Food competency to undertake inspections where required
- EHRB registration (or equivalent / successor), ideally
- Up-to-date CPD and competencies
- A strong, professional approach to complaint handling and investigations
