We are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant to join our growing Information Governance practice. This is a delivery-focused consulting role responsible for implementing, configuring and deploying iManage solutions for clients across legal, professional services, financial services and regulated sectors. You will work directly with client stakeholders to understand business requirements, design practical solutions, configure platforms, support migrations, deliver training and ensure successful adoption. This role suits someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with strong consulting skills. You will be equally comfortable leading workshops with senior stakeholders, configuring solutions, troubleshooting technical issues and delivering end-user training. The successful candidate will become a trusted advisor to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle and play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered successfully from discovery through to go-live and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Requirements Gathering
- Lead discovery workshops with client stakeholders
- Gather and document business, technical and operational requirements
- Analyse existing information management processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Design practical and scalable iManage solutions aligned to client objectives
- Produce solution designs, configuration specifications and implementation documentation
- Implementation & Configuration
- Install, configure and deploy iManage solutions
- Configure workspaces, metadata structures, security models and governance controls
- Configure integrations with Microsoft 365 and related technologies
- Support data migration activities from legacy document management systems
- Perform configuration testing and quality assurance activities
- Support user acceptance testing and remediation activities
- Project Delivery
- Own delivery workstreams and implementation activities
- Manage project plans, actions, risks, issues and dependencies
- Work closely with Project Managers, client teams and third-party suppliers
- Ensure delivery remains aligned with scope, timelines and commercial objectives
- Escalate risks and blockers proactively
- Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Develop user guides and training materials
- Deliver administrator and end-user training sessions
- Support change management and adoption activities
- Deliver formal knowledge transfer sessions to client support teams
- Ensure clients are confident and self-sufficient following go-live
- Technical Troubleshooting
- Act as a subject matter expert for iManage solutions
- Investigate and resolve configuration and deployment issues
- Support testing, defect resolution and optimisation activities
- Provide technical guidance throughout implementation projects
- Contribute to internal best practice and knowledge sharing
- Client Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders
- Communicate clearly and confidently at all levels
- Provide pragmatic, commercially sensible advice
- Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes
- Support long-term client success and growth
