About the company

Data makes the world go round. Every day, we generate it, use it, consume it, and demand it. We are all about the intelligent use of data. We work with some of the country’s leading brands to support them in making wise decisions powered by data. We help them transform their customer data into a structure they can use, enabling them to improve it, make sense of it, and drive value from it.

Founded in 2005, we are a customer-centric business with a World Class +82 Net Promoter Score. We believe data should be at the heart of every company. While we are sector agnostic, primarily our clients are in the water, energy, telecoms, financial services, charity, and retail sectors. We help them improve their customer prospecting and marketing, customer management, billing, collections, and retention over the lifetime of the customer.

We have delivered consistent success and ROI for our clients through new customer acquisition, customer management, onboarding, and ongoing development, to ensure every consumer is treated like an individual. Data can reveal the full picture and we join the dots.

The Role

In short, we’re growing. Not only growing the number of clients we work with, but also what we do for them. Effectively, we’re a data agency and use data to solve marketing challenges. We provide solutions, support, and data as if an extension of their team, whether it is for recruitment or retention there’s always something for us to be chasing. The role of the solutions consultant has three core areas; understanding, inspiring, and communicating, with both the client and support team around you for you to build relationships and maximise revenue opportunities. The Solutions Consultant is responsible for designing all the data and technology solutions we deliver for our clients. These can be as small as a post campaign report in Tableau through to a full Single Customer View Database and infrastructure. The Solutions team is small but very active, touching almost all our clients as well as getting involved in internal developments and operational efficiencies. Our clients range in size and complexity, so our solutions do too and this role works with a wide range of people across the company as well as with our clients themselves.

  • Are quick to identify incomplete and diverse data sets, pinpointing data issues which may affect the accuracy and completeness of any analysis performed.
  • Recognise the importance and value of understanding the data they are analysing, validating the information provided and reconciling the data sets as part of the Data Analytics Cycle.
  • Produce data visualisations, detailed reporting and analytics underpinned with clear business commentary.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplined teams to deliver end to end client solutions in a timely manner.
  • Balance the technical and analytical demands of their role.
  • Are open minded and flexible with a thirst for knowledge and an appetite for continuous development.

What success looks like in the role

  • Clear, concise and insightful data analytics which enable our clients to make sound business decisions based on fact.
  • Ability to translate data analysis into targeted information which can be converted into actionable improvements, based on specific client / industry need.
  • Continued improvement of our Product Suite through the delivery of robust data insight.
  • Ability to take accountability and ownership for client and internal deliverables.
  • Work as part of a Data Analytics team proving knowledge transfer support, peer to peer reviews and mentoring as a team to increase the team’s skill sites and drive continuous learning.

Competencies and Behaviours

  • Experience working in a data-driven business; CRM, planning, digital.
  • Experience in designing solutions across a range of data projects.
  • Comfortable using CRM/data visualisation tools; Adobe, Faststats, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Good communicator; written, verbal, presenting.
  • A team player, happy to get your hands dirty but engaging for clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to grow relationships.
  • Opportunity driven and commercially aware.
