We are working with a leading civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Manager for a major heavy civils project in Plymouth. This is a technically focused role where the client is specifically looking for someone with a strong design background and a solid understanding of risk management at pre-construction and design stages — not just site-based compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery teams, driving best practice across design risk management, CDM compliance, and operational safety throughout the lifecycle of the scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead health & safety strategy across a major heavy civils project
