We are looking for a confident, proactive, and solutions driven Customer Service Representative to join our EMEA Customer Service team on a fixed term contract until the end of January 2027. This is more than a traditional customer service role. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems independently, and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. What You Will Be Doing:
- Acting as a trusted first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email
- Delivering responsive, accurate, and professional customer support
- Managing customer requests from start to finish with a strong sense of ownership
- Working cross functionally with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Monitoring orders and open requests to ensure deadlines and commitments are met
- Keeping customers informed with clear and proactive communication
- Maintaining accurate records across CRM and internal systems
- Supporting order processing, returns, replacements, and post sales enquiries
- Providing support across the wider team during busy periods
- Identifying opportunities to improve customer service processes and ways of working
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone who combines strong customer service skills with initiative, resilience, and a proactive mindset coupled with experience in manufacturing or a business that distributes hardware or parts. You will ideally have experience working in an environment where you have needed to think independently, solve problems confidently, and manage competing priorities effectively.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, or a similar support role
- Manufacturing, engineering, hardware or parts type experience would be preferable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience using Salesforce, CRM platforms, or ERP systems would be advantageous
- Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable managing change
