Our client, a leading organisation within the sensing engineering industry, is looking for a
Sales Engineer to support business growth across Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.
Working closely with sales, marketing, product management and operations teams, you'll identify new business opportunities, develop channel partnerships and build lasting customer relationships.
You'll provide technical expertise while helping grow commercial opportunities across international markets.
Key Responsibilities Deliver regional and global sales strategies to support business growth.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and channel partners.
Build strong relationships with distributors, customers and key stakeholders.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Work collaboratively across departments to deliver commercial objectives.
Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
Support customers with technical advice and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
About You We're looking for someone with a technical engineering background who enjoys working with customers and has an interest in technical sales and business development.
You'll ideally have: An engineering background with an interest in sales.
Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally involving technical products.
Commercial awareness and strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
Strong written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel internationally for customer visits and exhibitions (typically 23 trips per year).
You'll also be: Curious, organised and motivated to learn.
Collaborative, proactive and customer-focused.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team.
Adaptable, with the ability to build long-term customer relationships.
