Oxygen 8 Recruitment is partnering with a leading international healthcare communications and medical education group. With an established reputation across Asia and the Middle East, the business is now launching its European operation and is seeking the senior leader to anchor it. This is a rare "first on the ground" appointment: the person who establishes the European footprint, wins the founding client relationships, and builds the team that follows. The core writing, design and editorial capability is delivered by established teams internationally, leaving this role free to focus on commercial growth, client relationships and market presence.
The role:
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the group's services in Europe.
- Win and grow client relationships across pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and healthcare organisations.
- Build, lead and retain high-performing Business Development and Client Services teams locally, and own subsequent hiring as the operation scales.
- Act as the senior bridge between European clients and the international delivery teams.
- Represent the business at industry level, building brand and network in a competitive European market.
About you:
- Proven leadership within healthcare / medical communications, medical education or a closely related agency environment.
- A strong, demonstrable track record in business development and client growth.
- Experience building or scaling teams, ideally including opening a new market or office.
- Commercially minded, comfortable with P&L ownership and operating across cultures within an internationally distributed model.
