What you'll actually be doing
- Hunting and closing new business across pharma accounts using a consultative, value-led approach.
- Growing existing accounts through new product and indication launches and expansion into fresh business units.
- Orchestrating cross-functional pursuit teams, strategy, creative, innovation, client services to win the complex, multi-stakeholder deals others can't.
- Owning your pipeline end to end: forecasting, scoping, pricing and negotiation through to a clean handoff to delivery.
- Acting as the commercial domain expert in front of clients, articulating the value proposition and shaping differentiated solutions.
What you'll bring
- Ideally 8 + years in business development selling medical communications or medical affairs advisory services into pharma with a track record built on new business wins, not just account management.
- A history of hitting and beating annual targets in the $1–3M+ range.
