Oxwash is a sustainable on-demand laundry and dry cleaning startup founded in Oxford. Oxwash uses electric cargo bikes to collect and deliver the laundry directly to their customers' door, before washing the items using state-of-the-art low temperature technology. Oxwash is a sustainability-driven business - saving the planet by reducing our impact is the driving force behind our business. We are looking for team members who share our passion for sustainability and have a good understanding of the environmental issues we are currently facing.
Oxwash is looking for a Laundry Manager to join the team in our sustainable laundry facility in Oxford.
Ideal hours: 13:00-22:00, Monday to Friday. There is flexibility in the hours for the right candidate.
This role would be perfectly suited to someone with commercial laundry experience who is looking for a management role within an exciting startup company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laundering commercial linen
- Finishing Wet Clean items
- Quality control
- Working alongside our existing Laundry Manager and delivery riders
- Maintaining sustainability at every corner
- Data recording and analysis
Previous Experience:
- 1+ years working in commercial laundry (desirable)
- 1+ years wet cleaning processing and finishing (desirable)
- 1+ year of management experience (desirable)
