Oxwash is re-engineering the laundry industry from the ground up. Our aim is for clinically clean, net-zero carbon emissions for the whole laundry process. This has never been accomplished and we are determined to be the first truly sustainable on-demand laundry company in the world. We currently operate in Oxford, Cambridge and London, with plans for further growth throughout the UK as well as into the US.
We need two permanent, full-time Laundry Assistants for our 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm shifts, to help run our sustainable laundry in Battersea. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail. Previous laundry or dry cleaning experience is essential, preferably including finishing high-end fashion garments. This job involves using a steam iron to return garments to their original shape having been through a wet clean process.
