Process Manager, London

Oxwash is re-engineering the laundry industry from the ground up. Our aim is for clinically clean, net-zero carbon emissions for the whole laundry process. This has never been accomplished, and we are determined to be the first truly sustainable on-demand laundry company in the world. We currently operate in Oxford, Cambridge, and London, with plans for further growth throughout the UK and into the US.

Job Description

We seek two innovative and agile process managers to oversee our processing operations in London. You will lead a team of industry experts, build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. You will maintain the highest standards throughout your lagoon.

Your responsibilities include managing our processing operations with full oversight of the lagoon floor, implementing and enhancing our automated tracking system, and managing your team autonomously with support from the London General Manager and Head of Operations.

Qualifications

You will oversee daily processing operations at our Battersea lagoon, demonstrating natural leadership. Standardization is essential; procedures must be consistent across all laundries, from detergent dosing to pillowcase folding. You will ensure quality and consistency, requiring attention to detail and diplomatic communication skills.

You should have an aptitude for process design and be tech-oriented, eager to find ways to reduce workload while increasing output through automation. HR responsibilities include supporting your team’s development and fostering a positive, trustworthy environment. A passion for sustainability and environmentally conscious practices is essential. You will act as a role model for positive change.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: £29,000-£32,000 (dependent on experience and skills) plus generous EMI share options.
