About This Role

We’re looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our busy and welcoming school office. In this varied role, you’ll be the first point of contact for parents and visitors, handling calls and enquiries while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. You’ll manage admissions, coordinate diaries and school visits, prepare the weekly newsletter, keep supplies stocked, and provide first aid to pupils when needed (training provided).

Salary: £22,048 - £23,986 per annum (based on working pattern)

Hours: 36 Hours per week/40 Weeks per year (term time +1 week)

Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, Term-time only (8:00am to 3:45pm, with one day finishing at 3:30pm)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for parents and visitors; handle calls and enquiries.
  • Assist with admissions and coordinate diaries and school visits.
  • Prepare the weekly newsletter; manage supplies and stationery.
  • Provide first aid to pupils when needed (training provided).
  • Support a busy school office to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain strong communication, IT proficiency, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
