About This Role
We are now inviting volunteer applications for this academic year. We warmly welcome anyone to apply as a volunteer within THPT – together we are committed to ‘Bring out the Best’ in all our pupils and students. The passion, dedication and skill sets offered by our volunteers are greatly respected and supported, and all our volunteers are valued and recognised for the time they contribute to the Trust.

- Complete the sections: General Details, Work Eligibility, Secondary/Further Education (at least one entry), References, Equal Opportunities Monitoring, Personal Statement and Declaration.
This information is required in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024. Depending on suitability, you will be contacted by the HR Team who will carry out requisite safeguarding checks. Once all checks are complete, the HR Team or the respective Head of School will contact you directly to discuss and confirm the details of your volunteer role.
Because we receive a high volume of applications, please assume that we currently have no opportunities at your desired school if we do not hear from you within three weeks of applying. We will, however, securely hold your details for up to one year in line with our GDPR policy.

Safeguarding
All voluntary roles are subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which will be fully funded by THPT. You will be required to sign up to the DBS Update Service free of charge and provide evidence of doing so before we can confirm your volunteer status. All volunteers must produce their right to work or stay in the UK documentation, and we will request a minimum of two satisfactory references. The Howard Partnership Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
