We’re looking for a new Treasurer Trustee to join the Board of Oxford Parent-Infant Project (OXPIP). This is a voluntary role, and a chance to use your financial skills to support babies, parents and families at a very important point in their lives.

For more than 25 years, OXPIP has helped parents and babies build close, loving and secure relationships during the earliest years of life. Alongside our therapeutic services in Oxfordshire, we also provide professional training and contribute to wider work to strengthen infant mental health.

We are now looking for someone to join our Board as Treasurer. You do not need to have been a charity treasurer before. What matters most is that you bring strong financial expertise, sound judgement, and an interest in helping a small but ambitious charity thrive.

Responsibilities

As Treasurer, you would work with the Chair, CEO and fellow trustees to provide strategic oversight of OXPIP’s finances, helping to ensure strong governance, financial sustainability and confident decision-making. This is a governance role rather than a hands-on bookkeeping position.

Qualifications
  • an accountancy qualification or equivalent senior financial management experience
  • the ability to interpret financial information clearly and confidently
  • a collaborative style and good strategic judgement
  • commitment to OXPIP’s mission and values
Time, Location and Remuneration

Time commitment: around 0.5–1 day per month

Location: Oxfordshire / hybrid

Remuneration: voluntary role

This is an exciting time to join OXPIP as we develop our long-term strategy, and the Treasurer will play an important part in helping us build for the future.

To apply, please email your CV and covering letter of no more than half a page to recruitment@oxpip.org.uk.
