Joining the Advisory Board is a great opportunity to strengthen relationships between artists and organisation based GAON members, working together to lead local action against the climate and ecological crisis. The GAON Advisory Board connects and builds the green arts community, harnessing the arts to work towards climate justice and regenerative futures in Oxfordshire. • Ensure the agreed plans are delivered.
  • Represent GAON when required to do so.
  • Support the fundraising endeavours of GAON.

Membership

Members should represent a diversity of organisations and artists in terms of art form and include members with expertise that the committee is missing. In an acknowledgement of the need to consider social justice in the work of climate action, the committee should have a diversity of voices, and will actively look to remove barriers to access and representation. All GAON Advisory Board members should be Charter signatories.
