Come join the brood: we are seeking dynamic, experienced workshop leaders to run ad-hoc craft sessions for our growing events company. We are specifically looking for people who can cover the Oxfordshire & Berkshire areas. Your own transport is preferred, as it allows us to send more rural jobs your way. We are seeking to increase our pool of people who can support our corporate events as well as hen parties; therefore, someone who has good flexibility or works fully freelance and has space for a bit of occasional extra work would be ideal. Primarily, our gap is weekend cover at the moment, so please apply if this is all you have free.
We are looking for people who will bring a sense of fun during the activities, as well as sharing skills with our participants. The majority of our clients are unfamiliar with craft techniques and need an approach that guides them gently. Our key client groups include hen parties, corporate events, special birthdays & baby showers; participants can vary massively in craft experience and ability. We also work with a variety of ages, though we predominantly cater to adults. A DBS in place would be an advantage.
In order to continue providing an award-winning service to our clients, we are seeking to increase our pool of freelance workshop providers. These roles usually suit people already working freelance or someone wanting to pick up an occasional bit of extra work. Pay is £88 per job plus travel expenses for leading. Work is predominantly weekend, but some limited weekday work is also possible. We anticipate depending on your availability between 3 & 15 jobs per year. Jobs are usually up to 3 hours taught time.
