About the Role

- Is an effective classroom practitioner with high expectations of student achievement and behaviour.
- Can quickly build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Is adaptable, resilient and able to work across a range of subject areas.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Works collaboratively and contributes positively to the wider life of the school.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Deliver high-quality classroom cover across a range of subjects.
- Supervise students completing work set by absent teachers.
- Support large-scale study sessions and independent learning environments.
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain high standards of conduct.
- Monitor student attendance, engagement and progress during cover sessions.
- Work alongside Senior Leaders, teaching staff and pastoral teams to support student success.
