Strategic RFP Lead

A unique opportunity to join one of the UK\’s leading Investment Management businesses in what will be their first RFP Leadership hire.

There\’s been some seriously interesting and positive change within this business over the past 18 months and this unanimously supported decision is one of several that will help shape the business for years to come.

My client requires a dynamic RFP professional to pioneer a newly created leadership role that will be instrumental in transforming the current RFP processes from a siloed team approach to a centralised, group-wide system. This role will require a hands-on leader ready to roll up their sleeves, solve complex problems, and drive significant changes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a standardised process and platform for managing RFPs, bespoke questionnaires, and online databases firm-wide.
• Oversee the transition of the RFP team from independent operations to a unified, central unit.
• Build and lead a new team, establishing robust procedures and systems to support a growing business.
• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments to ensure the seamless flow of information and align efforts towards common business goals.

What You Will Bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in asset or wealth management with a strong grasp of financial markets.
• Proven expertise in RFP database systems (e.g., Qvidian, Responsive, Rocketdocs, Loopio).
• Exceptional organisational, planning, and leadership skills, with a knack for problem-solving and project management.
• Excellent communication skills to navigate and align diverse teams and drive comprehensive business strategies.

Qualifications:

IMC qualification or working towards CFA.

Desired: University degree and relevant certifications in Project Management, Marketing, or Business Development.

Basic salary – £85,000 +
