Funds Operations Manager – 13-Month Fixed Term Contract

We’re looking for a hands-on Funds Operations Manager to join a growing investment business on a 13-month fixed term contract. This role is ideal for someone who’s available at short notice and enjoys getting stuck into a challenge. You’ll be part of a small, experienced team at a time of change. With new funds launching, operations evolving and regulatory demands increasing, we need someone who can hit the ground running and help shape what comes next.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the day-to-day running and improvement of fund and external custody operations.
- Helping onboard new funds and custody mandates while optimising existing ones.
- Managing relationships with service providers (custodians, administrators, platforms).
- Ensuring compliance, from reporting deadlines to regulatory updates.
- Getting involved in wider projects that impact the operating model and infrastructure.
- Working closely with teams across the business – product, finance, compliance, marketing to keep things running smoothly.
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience in a similar funds operations or custody role.
- Someone who can start quickly and bring value from day one.
- A team player who’s proactive, curious, and not afraid to ask questions or challenge the status quo.
