At Oxi-Tech Solutions, we design and develop innovative systems that generate ozone in water to eliminate the need for chemical disinfectants. Our technology is used across industries including dairy and beverage production, helping deliver cleaner, more sustainable processes. We’re a small, fast-moving engineering team based in Exeter, and we’re offering a paid Summer 2026 internship (salary pro rata) where you’ll work directly on live products and real engineering challenges.
What you’ll be doing
- Help build, assemble, and test working systems in our workshop and test environments
- Work across mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems, gaining true multidisciplinary experience
- Support product development and prototyping activities
- Assist with system integration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Create and improve engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Capture, analyse, and report test data
- Contribute to improving how we test and develop our products
By the end of the internship, you’ll have delivered real outputs—whether that’s documented designs, improved test processes, or completed engineering tasks.

About you
We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn and not afraid to get involved. You should:
- Be currently studying (or recently completed) a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or General Engineering
- Enjoy practical, hands-on work as well as problem-solving
- Be curious about how systems work and willing to learn across disciplines
- Have good attention to detail, especially when documenting work
- Be proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
Bonus if you have experience with:
- CAD (e.g. SolidWorks)
- Engineering drawings or schematics
- Sensors, wiring, or control systems
- Lab or testing environments
