About the Role
We are looking for a suitably skilled and experienced Sports Coordinator – Participation to join our Sports Federation team. You will provide the highest level of service to all registered University sports clubs and organisations, and where appropriate, to individual students. Your responsibilities include professional guidance to increase recreational and casual opportunities within sports programmes, administrative support to reduce barriers to participation, and support with sessions, events and content to increase physical activity within the University’s students, staff and local community members. The post will also manage University‑wide projects relating to student and staff participation in sport and physical activity. You will be accountable for delivering agreed outcomes and ensuring project success.
About You
You will have relevant experience in student sport administration and sports development or leisure experience, and possess excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal). Experience in managing successful projects and delivering agreed outcomes is essential.
