About the Role

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join the Propositions & Lifecycle product marketing team within our English Language Teaching (ELT) division as Marketing Manager on a fixed term contract for 6 months, with possibility of extension. In this role, you will support the development of messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies that contribute to growth in sales, customer acquisition, and long-term engagement. Duties of the role will include:

  • Define and create a clear, competitively advantaged customer value proposition for the ELT portfolio, including USPs, product positioning, and key sales messages ensuring it is aligned with the wider marketing and integrated offer strategies.
  • Champion the customer voice by working in collaboration with the Product Portfolio Managers to enhance the proposition for the customer and to ensure that products are aligned to the value proposition, product messaging and positioning strategies.
  • Define marketing strategy for frontlist product with clear and meaningful marketing objectives and KPIs agreed with relevant stakeholders.
  • Input and inform regional marketing plans designed to support product launches.
  • Define impactful and detailed messaging and key course information into the Product Information Manual and appropriate bibliographic repository to ensure consistency across channels, regional and global usage.
  • Champion best practice in proposition development and provide guidance to Marketing and Product teams as required.
  • Coordinate appropriate research (to be carried out by the Marketing Research team) to support proposition understanding and enhancement.
  • Plan, create and deliver collateral within the current defined Product Launch Pack, on time and to budget.
  • Manage designated budget to ensure best return on investment.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
