About the Role
We are looking for a thoughtful and collaborative Product Manager to help shape the strategy for one of our key digital focus areas. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle, from early ideation through to retirement, ensuring each stage supports customer needs and aligns with our broader business objectives.
Working closely with other Digital Product Managers, Product Designers, Business Product Owners, and colleagues across teams and divisions, you will help identify opportunities, prioritise requirements, and develop a clear and responsive product roadmap. You will also work with internal and external partners, including suppliers, to ensure products and features are delivered effectively and sustainably.
We are seeking someone who can bring clarity, openness, and curiosity to product development. You will support communication across the organisation, contribute to training and demonstrations, and help ensure changes are well embedded. If you are motivated by delivering user‑centred digital products, building positive working relationships, and contributing to meaningful outcomes for customers, we would be pleased to hear from you. This is a 6-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

- Knowledge of education publishing market is beneficial.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Familiar with a variety of project management methodologies including Lean Product Management and Agile.
- Demonstrable understanding of commercial and financial planning.
- Build and manage successful, collaborative relationships with customers, commercial partners, and colleagues.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully embedding change is desirable.
- Communication, networking and influencing within a matrix structure: to find a consensus and a way forward which balances needs.
- Great listening skills which facilitate the gathering of information from several sources and build the best product roadmap.
