The AI Incubation Project Manager is responsible for stewarding artificial intelligence incubation projects from inception to alpha release. This role orchestrates complex cross-functional initiatives that transform experimental AI concepts into market-ready solutions, navigating the rapidly evolving AI landscape while ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence. The position serves as the critical bridge between technical innovation and business execution, driving successful transition of AI initiatives from incubation to deployment.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Lead intake process for new AI project proposals with feasibility assessments; Develop comprehensive project roadmaps and resource allocation plans; Manage day-to-day operations ensuring quality standards and timeline commitments; Orchestrate handoff process from incubation to production teams
  • Serve as primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership; Identify, secure, and manage internal and external resources including specialists and vendor partnerships; Facilitate regular stakeholder updates and strategic decision-making sessions; Navigate competing priorities while maintaining project momentum
  • Maintain visibility across entire AI incubation portfolio identifying synergies and opportunities; Continuously refine incubation methodologies and governance frameworks; Proactively identify and mitigate technical, regulatory, and business risks
  • Distill complex technical concepts into clear business insights for C-level audiences; Lead virtual and matrixed teams with strong influencing skills; Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice development across projects

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
