Job Overview

Would you like to take the lead for our highly valued out of hours pharmacy service?

This new post is equivalent to a day each week alongside your current role, to provide dedicated leadership for our resident pharmacist team.

Support of your line manager will be essential to enable the role to fit with your existing post.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team of resident pharmacists providing the out of hours pharmacy service.
  • Recruit, induct, manage roster and coordinate pastoral support provided by resident line managers.
  • Act as a role model in Trust values, behaviours and clinical expertise.
  • Develop, evaluate and deliver a comprehensive out of hours pharmacy service at Highly Advanced level.
  • Maintain key relationships with stakeholders, Divisional Lead Pharmacist, Divisional Lead pharmacists and Associate Director of Pharmacy for Clinical Services.
  • Manage and develop the service through communication, data analysis, incident review and feedback.
