We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band Nurse to join our team at the Bone Infection Unit (BIU) Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
BIU is the only specialist unit of its kind in the UK caring for patients with bone and soft tissue infections. Many of our patients require complex major reconstructive surgery. Our patients are often transferred from hospitals all over the UK. This is a busy and fast paced unit - it is hard work but rewarding and there is great team work. No two days are the same and there is a lot to learn.
Working for our organisation, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country. It provides a wide range of general and specialist clinical services and is a base for medical education, training and research.
