This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, driven HR professional to develop their strategic business partnering experience in support of our OUH People Plan. As well as developing top-quality people solutions to improve performance and staff experience, you will also deputise for a Divisional Head of Workforce and contribute to policy development and Trust-wide projects.

Main duties of the job:

  • The Deputy Head of Workforce will work in close partnership with the Divisional Heads of Workforce and Divisional and Corporate colleagues.
  • This critical role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of people plans and strategies at Divisional and service level, bringing in best practice solutions to achieve service goals and organisational objectives.
  • The postholder will support the Divisional Heads of Workforce in analysing all sources of data to identify hotspots in their Divisions and will use workforce information reports to drive change and report progress highlighting mitigations and interventions to improve performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
