We are seeking a motivated, hard-working, and forward-thinking leader to take on this pivotal role. This role provides the autonomy to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, while working closely with the Non-Invasive Cardiac Physiology Team and the Cardiology Matron. You will play a vital part in delivering high standards of care, driving service improvements, and ensuring the department meets its operational targets. Main duties of the job

  • You will work collaboratively with the Cardiac Physiology Lead for Non-Invasive Services, Non-Invasive Cardiac Physiology Team and the Cardiology Matron to ensure the efficient day-to-day operational management of the Cardiology Outpatient Department.
  • You will be a visible and accessible leader within the department, easily identifiable to patients, relatives, and all staff.
  • As a key figure in the department, you will provide exceptional clinical leadership and foster a supportive environment for professional growth and development.
  • You will be responsible for managing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care, while ensuring the department meets its service and performance targets.
  • The post holder will take strategic responsibility for driving service improvements, managing staff performance and training, and promoting innovative approaches to outpatient nursing practice.
  • You will also oversee compliance with trust policies, assist in financial management of departmental resources, and maintain high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
