You will be expected to provide 1 to 1 patient observations, assist with individual therapy goals, and be involved in rehabilitation through holistic and patient-centered care. You must demonstrate empathy, compassion, and the ability to cope in challenging situations. You will work closely with the Multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and should have a desire to make a difference to vulnerable patients requiring additional observations and interventions.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Short Stay Ward 5B team. The post-holder will work on the wards, delivering holistic care and patient observations, including distraction therapy, reminiscence therapy, personal care, support with nutrition/hydration, mouth care, and prevention of deconditioning.
