Oxford Tax Services, a specialist advisory firm headquartered in Oxford, is seeking a Corporate, International & M&A Tax Director to join our senior leadership team. This is a client-facing, high-impact role supporting large multinational groups with complex cross-border tax requirements, transaction-driven projects, and governance transformation.
We are a team of experienced tax professionals with deep technical capability across corporate tax, international tax, M&A, and restructuring. Our advisers have delivered multiple successful projects for global organizations, combining technical excellence with commercial clarity and operational understanding.
- Global Compliance: corporate tax planning, assessing liabilities, overseeing compliance, and resolving disputes with HMRC and other jurisdictions tax authorities.
- Managing multi-jurisdictional corporate tax filings: statutory submissions and regulatory alignment.
- Tax Planning & Forecasting: Delivering global planning, residency reviews, WHT optimization, PE risk assessments and cross border support.
- Group Tax Reporting: Leading tax provisioning, IFRS/US GAAP notes, deferred tax, R&D incentives and Patent Box claims.
- Governance & Risk Management: SAO compliance, RACM documentation, CCO assessments, risk registers and control frameworks.
- Tax Technology & Automation: ERP tax configuration (SAP, NetSuite, D365), workflow automation and tax data optimization.
- Cross Border Structuring: Treaty optimization, substance alignment, IP migration, DEMPE, cost sharing and exit taxes.
- Pillar Two & CBCR: ETR modelling, safe harbor testing, top up tax forecasting, GloBE readiness and disclosures.
- International Tax Planning: Supporting global transactions, customs/excise reviews and cross border operational tax analysis.
- M&A Tax & Integration: Due diligence, SPA support, carve out structuring, Day 1 readiness and post merger integration.
- Interim Tax Leadership: Leading tax departments, managing reporting cycles, audits, advisor coordination and senior stakeholder engagement.
