About the role

  • Facilitate students’ development of core life skills through engaging and interactive group sessions.
  • Deliver engaging 90‑minute Masterclass workshops to groups of 16‑17‑year‑olds.
  • Design sessions around the 21st Century Skills framework, covering areas like communication, collaboration, and media literacy.
  • Encourage active participation and equip young people with practical abilities they can apply beyond the classroom.

Session dates between late June and the end of August 2026.

Pay details

From £32 to £55 per hour, depending on relevant expertise and experience.

Working pattern

  • 90 minute session.
  • Sessions take place on Mondays.
  • 1 hour preparation allowance.
  • Reports to Study Coordinator.

  • Design and deliver an engaging 90‑minute Masterclass focused on developing key skills from the 21st Century Skills framework.
  • Facilitate interactive learning through short, hands‑on tasks and activities.
  • Utilise real‑world scenarios to help students understand how to apply essential skills in their daily lives and future careers.
  • Create an inclusive environment for students from diverse international backgrounds.

About you

You’re a passionate educator with experience coaching young people, eager to create interactive, engaging sessions for 16‑17‑year‑olds. You excel at cultivating energy and participation within groups, and you’re motivated to design tasks that are both fun and educational.

Essential

  • Experience teaching or coaching young adults.
  • Proven ability to tailor sessions to the specific needs of your audience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor work visas for this role).

Desirable

  • Experience working with international students and non‑native speakers.
  • Experience working in academic summer schools.
