Oxford Space Systems is hiring an Associate Composites Technician.

This is a greatopportunity for someone who has an interest in working within a manufacturing, assembly environment and wishes to start their career.

We are looking forsomeone who is keen to learn and increase their knowledge and experience withincomposites.

As an Associate Composites Technician, you will be supported by oursmall dedicated Composites team to take responsibility of our assembly andtesting of hardware and supporting process documentation to meet qualitystandards.

You will be shown how to perform manufacturing of composites /fibre-based material components and support day to day Manufacturing Assembly Integrationand Test activities to ensure successful delivery of internal and externalfunded projects.

You will possess a strongdiscipline in following processes, procedures and have an interest in engineeringand assembly of precision components.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge or practical experience of composite manufacturing and assembly procedures.

It is also desirablethat you will have knowledge and understanding of detailed engineeringdrawings, surface finishes, tolerances, materials.

You will be someone who is keento learn, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, have a pragmaticand logical approach to problem solving.

You will have excellent interpersonaland team working skills, written/verbal communication skills, strong organisationalskills, task management and multi-tasking skills and have ability to use owninitiative.
