This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and technically capable individual to support the planning, setup, and delivery of IT systems and infrastructure across Oxford Royale’s summer school campuses. The IT Support Technician will play a critical role in ensuring all technology, devices, and systems are effectively deployed and maintained to support a seamless summer school experience. This role combines project coordination, IT operations, and on-the-ground delivery across multiple UK locations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the planning, delivery and support of IT & Telecoms systems and infrastructure projects across multiple summer school campuses.
- Coordinate the procurement of campus IT & Telecoms equipment, including laptops, mobile phones, printers, and related accessories.
- Manage the setup, configuration, and allocation of laptops and mobile devices to staff across summer delivery teams.
- Support the setup and maintenance of campus IT & Telecoms infrastructure, including:
- WiFi configuration and troubleshooting
- Printer procurement, setup, and on-site support
- Phone systems and calling routes, including emergency phone setup

- Highly organised, with strong administrative and project coordination skills.
- Strong interest in IT systems, infrastructure, and operational delivery.
- Hands‑on and practical, comfortable setting up devices and troubleshooting technical issues on‑site.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when managing systems, equipment, and access.
- Proactive and solutions‑focused, with the ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to support non‑technical users effectively.

Position details
- Hours: 40 hours per week with hybrid working options as per company policy
- Location: Based at our Oxford office, with hybrid working options available upon agreement with HR
- Summer delivery: During the delivery of the summer schools, this role requires being on-the-ground at sites in Oxford, Cambridge and London, as well as supporting delivery of activities in evenings and weekends.
- Salary: £30,000
- Role: ASAP start. Fixed‑term until end August 2026.
