We're seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across the company. This role is pivotal in supporting strategic initiatives, enabling cross‐functional collaboration and ensuring smooth day‐to‐day operations. You'll work closely with the CEO, CTO, and other members of the executive team to help scale the business effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic & Operational Enablement
    • Partner with the CEO to lead the quarterly EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) process, including planning, alignment, tracking, and reporting.
    • Own the execution of strategic initiatives from planning through to delivery, ensuring measurable impact and accountability.
    • Champion the use of operational tools (e.g., HubSpot, Xero, Microsoft 365 suite including Teams, SharePoint, and Office), and drive adoption of best practices and new technologies.
    • Build strong cross‐functional relationships to support company‐wide goals and foster a culture of collaboration and transparency.
    • Adoption of AI (CoPilot) within business operations.
    • Coordinate automation of KPI reporting/dashboard.
  • IT Security & Compliance
    • Support the CTO in maintaining the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and coordinating the annual ISO 27001 audit.
    • Maintain and regularly update company policies, including Health & Safety, GDPR compliance and the Staff Handbook.
  • People & Office Operations
    • Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, application management and interview scheduling.
    • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
    • Organise logistics for executive meetings, team events, and company‐wide gatherings.
    • Oversee office operations, including supplies, equipment, health & safety compliance and access management.
    • Organise weekly company knowledge sharing event.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in business operations and project management.
  • Experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable operational processes.
  • Comfortable leading change initiatives and driving adoption of new tools, systems, or ways of working.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001) and ability to manage compliance‐related tasks.
  • Familiarity with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable decisions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a bias toward execution and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
  • Digital native with prior exposure to AI, SaaS, or tech‐driven business operations.
  • Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting or financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
