We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Operations Assistant to help create a smooth, welcoming and well-organised workplace experience for our teams and visitors. This role is ideally suited to someone with office management experience as well as those with hospitality or customer service experience who enjoy supporting people, solving problems and keeping things running efficiently behind the scenes.
This is a hands-on, front-facing role supporting day-to-day office operations and facilities coordination across the business. Working closely with the Facilities Operations Manager, you’ll help ensure our office environment remains safe, organised and fully operational while delivering an excellent experience for employees, visitors and external stakeholders.
What You'll Be Working On
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office environment and front-of-house experience
- Managing visitor queries, parking requests, security concerns and concierge-style support via phone, email and in person
- Conducting stock checks and placing orders for office supplies, stationery, food and beverages within budget
- Arranging catering and logistics for internal meetings and external visitors
- Supporting employee business travel bookings, itinerary changes and travel-related queries
- Planning team events, researching venues and providing budget recommendations for approval
- Supporting onboarding activities including office tours, inductions and health & safety briefings
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, office administration or a similar people-focused environment
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a customer-first mindset
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Comfortable handling administrative tasks and coordinating logistics
- Confident communicator across face-to-face, phone and email interactions
- IT literate with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
