Full Time In Office - Oxford 6-Month Contract with opportunity for extension
Main Duties
- Programme Development
- Ideating new programmes and events, assessing programme needs with line manager and others
- Researching and contacting prospective speakers for our programmes and events
- Timetabling and scheduling of sessions online and offline
- Setting up online sessions and offline classroom premises when appropriate
- Preparing and processing all related paperwork
- Programme Coordination
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the programmes
- Maintaining and updating database as requested
- Materials Creation
- Creating course handbooks and syllabi to be sent to students
- Proofreading any course materials
- Creating and developing written promotional materials; developing new market leads
- Preparing written certificates, transcripts and other reports consisting of qualitative and quantitative data related to programme activities
- Student Support
- Being responsible for preparing, organising and populating programme documents with up-to-date materials and information, ensuring accuracy, clarity and consistency in content
- Communicating clearly and in an engaging manner with the students, primarily through WeChat
- Interviewing prospective students for our courses
- Team Participation and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and improving efficiency of current working methods
- Prioritising your workload effectively and pre-empting any issues that may arise where possible
- Similar general administration duties and programme support tasks online and offline
Skills
Essential:
- Administrative experience in an office setting
- Ability to work calmly under pressure, prioritising work and meeting deadlines
- Good computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Pro-active and ‘can-do’ attitude
- Clear interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable:
- Master’s degree (or BA degree + significant experience)
- 2 years of experience at similar level
- Experience working with international participants and students
- Good understanding of short course programmes, university summer schools, university teacher training, academic writing in Higher Education context
- Good knowledge of Oxbridge system and tutorial teaching
Benefits:
