To play a key role in the design and development of innovative medical and healthcare products at OPD.
About you:
Weβre looking for an experienced product designer with a minimum of five years of medical and healthcare product development experience, preferably gained in a consultancy environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Producing innovative and technically excellent designs.
- Maintaining quality, processes, procedure and standards within the business and demonstrating a meticulous and methodical approach to project delivery.
- Communicating with clients clearly and confidently while showing sound commercial judgement.
- Delivering projects within scope, to time and on budget.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and actively mentoring junior members of staff.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently when required.
Role Requirements:
- 5 years minimum of relevant medical and healthcare product design experience.
- Degree in Design or Engineering related discipline.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 working processes.
- Motivation towards the application of human factors to product development.
- Excellent 3D CAD skills (preferably SolidWorks).
