The Marketing & Communications Director manages Oxford Pride’s communications strategy and brand, ensuring visibility and inclusive messaging across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver Oxford Pride’s marketing and communications strategy.
  • Maintain consistent branding and messaging across channels.
  • Work with the Social Media Officer on campaigns.
  • Handle press releases, media enquiries, and PR opportunities.
  • Build relationships with media and community partners.

Skills Required

  • Experience in marketing, PR, or communications.
  • Ability to deliver campaigns across media.
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Awareness of inclusive communications practice.

Time Commitment

Additional time in the lead-up to the Pride Event.

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently works within marketing, in either B2B or consumer.
  • Experience forming marketing strategies and managing direct reports.
  • A broad marketeer who can oversee and ensure brand consistency, who is happy to dive into planning and execution.

You would be supported by a Social Media Officer.
